Well, here I am.  My first post on LJ and I have no idea what to say...

HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone!  I hope 2008 brings everyone all they wish for and that their dreams come true.

Hopefully, this will be a great year for Alyssa (my wife) and I.  She's been working on selling her illustrations and recently hooked up with another artist, this guy Craig, who's also an illustrator.  

In the meantime, I'm able to take time off from working so I can get my first novel finished and published.  An uncle I really didn't know recently passed away and left me a chunk of money.  Alyssa and I agreed this is a perfect opportunity for me to get writing and get the book done.

If we're lucky, she'll sell some of her artwork and my novel will get published!
