My first post on LJ and I have no idea what to say...<br /><br />HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone! I hope 2008 brings everyone all they wish for and that their dreams come true.<br /><br />Hopefully, this will be a great year for Alyssa (my wife) and I. She's been working on selling her illustrations and recently hooked up with another artist, this guy Craig, who's also an illustrator. <br /><br />In the meantime, I'm able to take time off from working so I can get my first novel finished and published. An uncle I really didn't know recently passed away and left me a chunk of money. Alyssa and I agreed this is a perfect opportunity for me to get writing and get the book done.<br /><br />If we're lucky, she'll sell some of her artwork and my novel will get published!<br /><br /><br />Jon
